Fine Arts Ministry 
 
Why the Arts?

The Fine Arts Ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church encompasses not only music, but drama as well.  Music and drama can be powerful vehicles for conveying abstract truths.  The Fine Arts Ministry of Trinity strives to harness that power to enhance worship and support the beautiful Gospel message.
 
The Fine Arts Ministry provides a variety of musical groups, drama, and technical support opportunities for congregational members of all ages and abilities to share their gifts while glorifying God.  Through involvement in these ministries, benefits are realized not only by the person in the pew, but also, through fellowship, to the participants themselves.
The Praise Band provides the music leadership for our Ignite! Contemporary Worship service.  Past non-worship performances include the East Texas State Fair, the Texas Guitar Festival and the Church Extension Fund Conference in Austin.
 
 
Sanctuary Choir and Bells of Joy
 
The Sanctuary Choir and Bells of Joy provide music leadership to our worship in the sanctuary.  In addition to Sunday morning worship, they also perform several special services each year.
 
 
Multimedia and Tech Team
 
 
The Tech team provides technical support to all of our worship services and special events.  They provide expertise in the areas of sound reinforcement, video and audio recording, projection and video creation and editing.
 
 
 

Drama

 

The Drama Team provides dramatic support to our Ignite! Contemporary service and other special events.

The date is May 20, 1978 and the Wiley Wildcats are celebrating the end of the school year at their prom - The theme is "Stairway to Heaven", but is it really a "Stairway to Murder"?
